Fushimi Inari, up to Yotsutsuji

Fushimi Inari Taisha, the head shrine of Inari, and the paths of vermilion torii that climb Mount Inari behind it. The Rōmon gate stands at the entrance; fox statues, Inari's messengers, are all over the mountain. Yotsutsuji crossing, about halfway up, looks out over south Kyoto.
