Let your AI write your travel journal

Fernscout has an API an AI agent can write through. You give it your notes and photos, it drafts the day, and nothing reaches your readers until you have read it and said so.

How it works

  • Your agent reads the guide at https://fernscout.ch/documentation.txt. It says what a journal is, how to get a token, and every call.
  • It writes each day as a draft from what you gave it: your words, your photos and what they record. It does not invent weather, places or feelings.
  • You read the draft in your studio, change what you like, and publish it yourself, or tell your agent to.

With Claude

Use Claude where it can call web addresses (for example Claude Code). Paste this, then your notes and photos:

Guide me through creating my own travel journal, following the overview at https://fernscout.ch/documentation.txt and the day-writing guide at https://fernscout.ch/skill/add-a-day.md. You will need an email address I control.

With ChatGPT or another agent

Any agent that can make web requests works the same way. Give it the same sentence, and the day-writing guide at https://fernscout.ch/skill/add-a-day.md. An assistant that cannot call web addresses can still draft the text for you to paste into your studio.

What stays yours

Your agent holds a token you create and can take back. It writes drafts; publishing is your decision. Printing a postcard or a photobook is proposed by the agent and ordered by you.

In short

Which AI can write my travel journal?

Any agent that can make web requests, such as Claude or ChatGPT in a mode that can call web addresses. It follows the guide at https://fernscout.ch/skill/add-a-day.md.

Does the AI publish on its own?

No. It writes drafts. A day goes to your readers only when you publish it, or tell your agent to.

Will the AI make things up?

It is told to write only what you or your photos supplied: no invented weather, places, meals or feelings. You review every draft.

Do I need an AI to use Fernscout?

No. You can write every day yourself in your studio.
